A Raspberry Moscow Mule is a refreshing cocktail that comes together with just a few ingredients including vodka, raspberry simple syrup, ginger beer, and lime juice! The raspberry simple syrup can be made in advance, making it a great prep-ahead cocktail that will impress your guests. Serve it in a copper mug for a cold drink!

Key Ingredients
- Raspberry simple syrup- made with fresh raspberries and equal parts water and sugar. This step only takes a few minutes but adds the perfect amount of sweetness to the drink. Plus, you can prep this in advance!
- Lime juice- for added freshness and a touch of acidity.
- Vodka- traditional in a Moscow Mule. Feel free to use your favorite vodka brand, but no need to break the bank! For extra raspberry flavor, feel free to use a raspberry-flavored vodka!
- Ginger beer- this is my favorite brand, but any ginger beer will work.
Raspberry Simple Syrup Tips
Raspberry simple syrup is made by simply boiling equal parts raspberries, sugar, and water until the sugar is completely dissolved. I then strain it to remove the seeds. You can make it up to a few weeks in advance.
The simple syrup is a key ingredient in this cocktail recipe, but if you are in a pinch, you can also muddle a small handful of raspberries at the bottom of your drink for some raspberry flavor.
Variations and substitutions
- To make a non-alcoholic version of this raspberry mule, omit the vodka and add a splash more of ginger beer.
- For a fun twist, swap the vodka for tequila (for a Mexican Mule)!
- For a blueberry Moscow mule, swap the raspberry simple syrup with this Blueberry Simple Syrup instead!
Serving and Garnish suggestions
Serve this raspberry mule in a copper mug with fresh raspberries and lime wedges for a festive drink! The copper mug is not only beautiful but it also helps keep the drink extra cold. If you don't have copper mugs, Moscow mules are still delicious in regular glasses!
