How to make an easy Raspberry Simple Syrup

With just equal parts raspberries, sugar, and water, you can make this easy syrup at home. Muddle the raspberries then add the water and sugar. Boil until the sugar is dissolved. Strain and add it to your favorite cocktails or mocktails.

How to store this raspberry syrup

After straining the syrup, allow it to cool completely before storing it in an airtight container, preferably glass, in the refrigerator. When stored properly, it can last up to 3-4 weeks.

Raspberry Simple Syrup

Recipe for easy 3 ingredient raspberry simple syrup that adds a delicious fruity flavor to your favorite drinks!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup granulated white cane sugar
  • 1 cup cold water

Instructions

  • Add the raspberries to a medium saucepan and muddle them gently with the back of a spoon. Stir in the sugar and water. Heat the pan over medium-high heat until gently boiling. Reduce to a simmer and simmer for 10 minutes, or until sugar is completely dissolved and you can only see the seeds left in the raspberries. Strain through a fine mesh strainer. Cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
