Why you'll love this recipe

  • This sauce is great to prep in advance! If entertaining or cooking for a holiday meal, prep this sauce a few days in advance and you'll have one less thing to worry about.
  • The combination of Dijon mustard and prepared horseradish gives this sauce the perfect zip and spice. It is a great compliment to roasts!
  • In less than 5 minutes, you can whip up this creamy sauce and elevate your meal!

Key Ingredients

  • Prepared horseradish: You can find prepared horseradish in the sauce section of your grocery store.
  • Sour cream: I use sour cream and no mayo in this recipe.
  • Dijon mustard: I use equal parts Dijon and mustard
  • Chives: the fresh chives add a delicious, mild onion flavor as well as a beautiful pop or green. If you don't have chives on hand, feel free to leave them out!
  • Optional ingredient: Worcestershire sauce: I've made this recipe both with and without Worcestershire sauce and both are delicious! It is plenty flavorful without it, but if you would like an extra umami taste, you can add a dash of Worcestershire.
