I first had guacamole with pomegranate seeds at a Mexican Restaurant in Scottsdale, and let me tell you... it was life-changing! Pomegranates bring guacamole to a whole other level (I know... I didn't think it was possible either). My guacamole with pomegranate seeds is one of the easiest appetizers to make but you are guaranteed to get compliments from anyone you share it with!
The pomegranate seeds add a sweetness to the creamy and acidic guacamole. They also have a slight crunch to them, which pairs great with the soft avocado.
In my opinion, guacamole can get carried away with too many ingredients. I like to keep my traditional guac simple and let the ingredients shine: perfectly ripe avocados, juicy limes, garlic salt, and pepper. Then, to take it to the next level, top with pomegranate seeds and you are sure to impress!
This guacamole is so easy to make and only takes 5 ingredients (and one of those is pepper!). I hope you try it and let me know what you think in the comments below!
